Travelling to Pakistan VIA USA

If you are travelling to Pakistan

and you are using Pakistani Passport for your travel

and if you are transiting through USA (means you will stay at any USA airport for few hours on your way to Pakistan)

you will need USA transit visa or Visit Visa , without transit or any other US visa you can not travel through USA even if u r staying at US airport for 30 min.

you don't need visa of any other country if u r just transiting through their airport for few hour waiting for your next flight but in case of USA you do need visa.

USA visa fee for transit or visit is 160 Canadian dollars , So if u are going through USA u can add 160 dollars more to your ticket.

most people get visa with in a week but in case of some it may take weeks or months because of administrative processing / Background check

please don't buy air ticket transiting through USA if

*u have Pakistani passport and
*u dont have USA visa

Canadian Passport holders are not effected by this rule they can buy air ticket via USA without any problems
